Requirements

  • Grade 12 with tertiary qualification: Office Management / Administration National Diploma or related from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Professional Assistant at senior management level.
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Relationship management and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Resilience: ability to manage pressure; multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work
  • Able to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Adept at prioritization
  • Displays flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work demands
  • Fast computer typing skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, in particular MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP system
  • Basic financial administration skills such as procurement, processing of invoices etc
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Personal presentation that reflects a professional image of the PPECB
  • Willingness to travel as required and valid Driver’s license
  • Foundational knowledge of financial administration such as procurement, processing invoices and understanding budgets
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, e.g. PFMA
